A superb collection of short films culled from the gay film festivals. The DVD begins with the somber Tom Clay Jesus which focuses on the anonymity of the gay urban slut. Boychick follows - it's our favorite short film from the festival circuit. It's an imaginitive exploration of the inner life of a gay teen - funny, smart and great tunes too. Audit is while our least favorite selection, still a worthy film and features the only star performances. Prom Queen is a portrait of two gay teens in high school and how they deal with the situation. The film is filled with longing, desire and a knowing sensibility. The selection rounds up with Caught, the story of a passionate affair that one knows can't end well. The best short films tell a story in a few minutes - they don't leave you wanting more - these all succeed and then some!
