Adaptation of a novel by Alberts Bels which was, in its turn, based on actual events that took place in 1906.
        Ādolfs Karlsons, important figure in revolutionary movement, gets arrested on the grounds of carrying fake passport. Authorities suspect him to be a big fish but have no conclusive evidence.
        Karlsons's comrades then organize a daring attack on police headquarters in order to free their leader.
