An experimental, slice-of-life film examines a chaotic, never-ending love affair with a city, unsure if the heart of Beirut is a reality or illusion. A personal project that had developed into an experimental vision of a hopeless love story with a city we call home. After writing 17 different versions of the script "Breakfast in Beirut" in Los Angeles with script supervisor Rachel Vine in Universal Studios, Hollywood, California in 2012. Writer and Filmmaker Farrah ALHashem kept changing the storyline until her arrival in Beirut February 2014 where she ended up shooting a completely different version of the script. The Film's experimental direction examines Beirut as a chaotic city, and its inhabitants' relationship with it. But underneath this chaos, the heart of Beirut is waiting to be discovered.
